Bummer
Mood:  hug me
I guess I'm gettin' on the A.S. nerves over at Rance's blog. They posted me once today and I think they're ignoring me now. I'm going to pout, but I'll live. I don't want to over stay my welcome or just become a nuisance. So I'll just comment away on my own blog, because hell, that's what it's hear for. I just love reading my own typing. It's like hearing myself talk. I keep checking the other blogs I follow, but I guess everybody is busy with other things.

As a side and rather funny note, my son was helping me clean up our backyard the other day and he was gathering up all the dogs toys and he said "look mom! I've got lots of balls!" It just sounded funny and the looks he got from the old people that live next door were pretty funny too. Just goes to show that you can always turn an innocent comment into something dirty. Everybody has a talent right?
A dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste.

?????????????????
Mood:  not sure
Is it just me or has everybody taken a vacation? Everything seems to have slowed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. That or I just way to much time on my hands, which is probably the case. I get bored easily.

Candy Wars
Mood:  cheeky
So some people are upset about the main page of Rance's blog posting a plea for help in bringing back Wacky Wafers. They think there are more important things to worry about, and no doubt there are. But if they are truly that concerned then they shouldn't be spending their time writing snotty replys. They should be out righting all the wrongs and what not. Some times you just need to relax and have some fun, or make sure that your favorite candy is still around for you to enjoy, cause what fun would life be if we spent every single waking moment worrying about all the injustices in the world? Of course we shouldn't be totally self-absorbed assholes all the time, but some times it's ok right? My personal view is, someone one asked for help and it was truly fun to help. I hopefully made someone's day a little brighter.

Ok, I feel better now. It just really irritated me. Lets hope this doesn't turn into an e-brawl.

Like pulling teeth
Mood:  lazy
To anybody that happens to come across this poor blog, please accept my apologies. It's been quite some time since I've written anything and it's like pulling teeth. If you knew all the time I spend staring at the blinking cursor you'd cry. Between kids and co-workers that call in sick because they just don't feel like working today it's hard to find the time. And now that I'm done whining, I'm going back to work.

Monday's suck
Ok, so I know that everybody knows that Monday's suck, but sometimes it's usually bad. Like not getting any sleep the night before and then when you wake up, you find that your son has wet the bed and you've been sleeping in it for the two hours of sleep that you did get. Not to mention, you just put clean sheets on the bed before trying to sleep in it. But that was Sunday and this is Monday, so back to the point right? I think every weekend should be a three day weekend, so you don't have to work on Monday. Some how the sun seems brighter on Tuesday, maybe it's because you only have four days til Friday instead of five. Whatever the case, kids whine and fight with each other seven days a week and don't take the weekends off as they should. That's why they can put TV's in cars now, so you can actually drive around without listening to one whine that the other is touching them, the kids, (not TV's or cars). Oh, the wonders of technology! Which brings to mind my childhood, I would spend all day outside on the weekend when I was a kid, why don't kids do that now? Mine are too young to be going to friends houses just yet, but we have a nice backyard and we practically have to torture them to go outside and play in it. Probably because of the TV in the car. Why go outside when you can sit in air conditioned comfort and watch your favorite movie, while your parents take you to McDonald's for a happy meal?

Shopping with small children
Mood:  don't ask
Shopping with small children should be an Olympic sport. Clearly it takes endurance, strength, and the ability to think quickly on your feet. It helps if the store you're shopping at doesn't have toys, candy, or anything related to Nick Jr. or Disney characters. So basically, you can't go anywhere because now everything from paper towels to fruit snacks has some kind of popular character on it. But, getting back to the point . . . it is not for the faint of heart. It takes all of the planning and strategy of going into battle, because that's what it is. A battle to get in and out of the store without losing your mind or yelling at your kids in the middle of the store. You lose points for buying the expensive toys or the bulk size bag of candy and it is certain death if you have to leave the store without getting what you came for. There is however a bonus for making all the way to the car before giving the finger pointing, grounded for life speach and if you can do it without spit flying from your mouth or ripping your hair out then your reward is the bottle of wine waiting in the fridge when you get home.

Hold on it's going to be a bummpy ride!
Mood:  caffeinated
So here we go, I have to leave work right now, so it's going to be short. It's Friday and I'm off to the races. Let's hope the weekend is relaxing and not as stressful as the week was.
